Spending more advertising dollars sounds like a quick fix to generating more leads—and it can be. But as our client Excel SoftSources found out, there are often a lot more broken components under the hood than you realize. These broken components significantly impact whether or not Google ranks your business, and not in a good way.
Case in point: Our client had been spending money on LinkedIn and other advertising methods with limited success. They knew their organic presence needed a lot of help, but they didn’t know what to do or how to do it.
What they did know was the key to their marketing success depended on a great technical, organic foundation. That’s when they signed with Big Leap, hoping to increase visibility and generate more website leads.

So how did we get started? With an in-depth audit, of course. And what did that audit reveal? Quite a few issues with javascript, indexing, and URL organization.
We addressed each issue and even created new, optimized content for their site’s landing pages and blog. This content included writing or augmenting:
- 10 landing pages
- 21 blog posts, 5 of which were skyscrapers (bigger, better, newer, more interesting, and more relevant articles than any other similar content online)
Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, our client’s website had technical issues that ran very deep. Because of this, Google had trouble indexing all the great content we were producing.
Excel SoftSource used an in-house designer in an advisory position, and Big Leap’s web development team built out a new site and added our updated content. The new site was launched within a month, which our clients thought was amazing.

After all this hard work, here are the top four results from 11 months of strategy, hard work, and innovation.
1. Excel SoftSources site had never generated leads before, but after our site build and “Contact Us” page optimizations, they are consistently getting more and more high-quality organic leads month over month.
2. Our client’s website traffic has increased by 50% in the past 6 months (compared to the previous 6 months).
3. Their impressions have increased 157% when comparing the past 12 months year over year. And a 165% increase in Clicks (three-month YoY comparison [Sep - Nov] with a 265% increase in Impressions (three-month YoY comparison [Sep - Nov, 2022]
4. The tracked keywords have increased by 1,995 positions.
